Why you should hire us for your event as opposed to the many other bands trying to take a stab at the 80s thing?
Our bandleader, Liz Berg, is the most highly-credentialed musician on the Chicago 80s scene. She is one of only 32,000 voting members for the prestigious Grammy awards. She has been publicly praised and shared by the Go-Go’s and Skid Row bands. She also studied songwriting with Songwriting Hall of Famer, Holly Knight, who wrote “Love is a Battlefield, (Simply) The Best, The Warrior,” and many other legendary 80s hits.
We are serious professionals dedicated to making your event a success. We believe that we offer the most bang for your buck by having singers who play multiple instruments onstage. We perform all vocals and music LIVE and do not use any pre-recorded tracks. Unfortunately, many 80s bands are simply lip syncing onstage and fake mime playing. WE believe that this trend is simply unacceptable and is completely unprofessional. We also have NEVER had to cancel a show, because our musician line-up is so deep.
We are very versatile! Want more classic Loop type rock in the show? We can add Journey, Toto, Billy Squier and more. Want more hard/rock? We’ll make sure we have Def Leppard and Lita Ford and Bon Jovi and Guns N Roses in the setlist! Want more pop/stuff? We’ll make sure we have Madonna, Prince and Cyndi Lauper in the set.
